Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is the first floating market in Thailand, with a history of over a hundred years, renowned even beyond the borders of the country. It is also one of the symbols of Ratchaburi Province. Located in Ratchaburi, it connects to Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram provinces, allowing seamless interaction among residents from these regions. The market operates from 8 AM to 1 PM. Visitors can choose from a wide variety of products, including food, household items, and souvenirs, as well as handicrafts that are popular among international tourists. This floating market reflects the genuine way of life of the Ratchaburi people, as vendors sell goods along both sides of the canal, and boats can be seen selling items in every nook and cranny. Moreover, boat rental services are available for tours, taking visitors to see gardens and witness the process of fresh sugar production, allowing for an immersive experience of the riverside lifestyle.
