Khao Yai National Park is located on the western side of the Phanom Dong Rak mountain range, which rises prominently from the Central Plains and forms the boundary of the Korat Plateau. The park features several notable peaks, with Khao Rom being the highest at 1,351 meters, followed by Khao Laem at 1,326 meters, Khao Kiew at 1,292 meters, Khao Sam Yod at 1,142 meters, Khao Fa Phat at 1,078 meters, Khao Kam Pang at 875 meters, Khao Samo Poon at 805 meters, and Khao Kaew at 802 meters, all measured from sea level. Among its many natural wonders, the Klong Kaeo Waterfall is a highlight of Khao Yai National Park.
