When it comes to health tourism attractions in Yala, many people may think of Betong Hot Springs. This large natural hot spring is rich in various minerals, with water temperatures reaching around 80 degrees Celsius. In fact, the boiling water here is hot enough to cook a chicken egg in just 7 minutes. Currently, the Yala Provincial Administrative Organization has teamed up with the private sector to develop a 3-rai area of Betong Hot Springs into a flagship tourist destination for the province. This development includes a large swimming pool designed to collect water from the hot springs, allowing both locals and visitors to enjoy soaking or wading in the soothing waters. Each area has been thoughtfully designed to meet hygienic standards, featuring spacious hot spring pools, new bathing areas, a therapeutic building, and comfortable accommodations that come with a complete range of amenities.
