The significance of this place lies in being the Siam Commercial Bank Limited, Lampang branch, which boasts a classic architectural structure. In recognition of its impressive design, the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage designated this building as an Outstanding Conservation Building in 1997. Subsequently, Siam Commercial Bank renovated the premises and established it as the Thai Bank Museum, turning it into a memorial site dedicated to educating the public about the history of banking in Thailand. On the ground floor, visitors can see various artifacts used in the bank during its inception, such as deposit books, bank counters, and accounting machines. The upper floor features a room once occupied by M.R. Kukrit Pramoj, who served as the branch manager here in the past. Visits are available only for groups.
