Queen Sirikit Textile Museum the queen

Phra Lan Road, The Grand Palace, Bangkok.

The exhibition "Siriraj Phaettra Borommarachininart" has been organized to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the auspicious occasion of her 90th birthday, celebrated on August 12, 2022. The exhibition showcases the royal activities of the Queen Mother through her outfits from various periods, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of her clothing and the design styles of different eras. Her Majesty has been a pioneer in promoting the beauty of Thai textiles, personally advocating for their recognition. She graciously commissioned both Thai and international designers to create outfits from Thai fabrics for her royal engagements at home and abroad. Moreover, she has consistently supported showcasing the works of artisans from the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand, which has played a significant role in promoting Thai weaving and craftsmanship globally. The "Siriraj Phaettra Borommarachininart" exhibition is now open for visits at Exhibition Rooms 1-2 of the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles located in the Grand Palace. It welcomes guests every day from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with ticket sales concluding at 3:30 PM.
