Scattered throughout the municipality of Trang, notable areas include Rajdamnoen Road, Kantang Road, and Rama VI Road, where visitors can observe historic buildings lining the streets and hidden alleyways. Most of the structures showcase Sino-Portuguese architecture, primarily owned by Chinese immigrants who established themselves in the area for trade and labor at the port. Over time, this Chinese culture has beautifully intertwined with local traditions, giving rise to a unique Trang identity. For those who prefer not to walk or have limited time, travelers can hire a "tuk-tuk" with a distinctive frog-shaped design—another hallmark of Trang—for a tour around the old town. Tuk-tuk services are readily available, such as in front of Trang Railway Station, and fares can be negotiated based on the stops you wish to make. Key attractions in the city center include the Trang Railway Station, old Sino-Portuguese buildings, street art photo spots, a Christian church, the Dugong Fountain Roundabout, and Phaya Ratsadang Park, all of which are open 24 hours.
