Wat Klang Wiang or Wat Chan Lok is a temple and ancient site in Chiang Rai. It is the place where the original navel of Chiang Rai was enshrined. And this red sandalwood tree is a sacred tree according to ancient traditions. But as time passes This tree was cut down. In addition, at the time of building the city of Chiang Rai the second time in the year 2417, there was a survey from 4 corners of the city and found that the center of Chiang Rai was at Wat Chan Ta Lok.
