In the Phothong district, I had the opportunity to pay homage to the magnificent "Phra Si Muang Thong," a large reclining Buddha statue. Measuring an impressive 50 meters (approximately 25 waist lengths) from the top of the head to the feet, this statue bears a striking resemblance to the reclining Buddha of Jakrasri in Singburi Province, suggesting that both were created around the same period. The beauty of this reclining Buddha is truly remarkable, with a serene and gentle smile that evokes a deep sense of reverence and faith.
