Tambon Lak Sam, Amphoe Ban Phaew

Wat Dhamma Jarijah Piram, formerly known as Wat Mai Mathuros, is located by the Damnoen Saduak Canal in the Lak Sam Sub-district of Ban Phaew District, Samut Sakhon Province. At the front of the sermon hall, there is an impressive statue of His Majesty King Rama VIII, positioned above the majestic Garuda, along with a statue of Phra Phuttha U-Tong. The sacred relics are housed within the beautifully constructed Maharatana Chedi, which attracts visitors who come to pay their respects. The base of the chedi features a two-story chamber. The upper level serves as the sanctuary for the main Buddha statue, known as Phra Phuttha U-Tong. Due to the deep faith of local Buddhists and devotees from afar, this exquisite chedi was completed in just 3 years and 10 months. It is home to a stunning Buddha statue and breathtaking wall murals that captivate all who visit.
