Wat Ban Thung Kled (baht coin church)

Nahu Kwang Subdistrict, Thap Sakae District

Wat Thung Kled is home to the first "Baht Coin" Ubosot (ordination hall) in Thailand, featuring an impressive exterior adorned with 3.7 million baht coins. Inside, approximately 300,000 ten-baht coins have been used for decoration. The ceiling is beautifully crafted from golden teak wood, while the floor of the ubosot is made of granite. The temple encourages donations of both old and new lottery tickets that have not won any prizes. These tickets are then arranged on the walls of the multipurpose building according to specific patterns, adding a vibrant and unique aesthetic to the site.
