Old temple, beautiful with Burmese art Hidden in the midst of nature, peaceful and shady on the same route as the way up to Doi Suthep. The name of Wat Pha Lat comes from the word Phalerd because the people of the land followed the elephants along the streams and waterfalls. Then many people slipped and fell. Some say elephants are slippery as well. When the temple was established, it was named after the waterfall.
