Wat Indharam Worawihan is a third-class royal temple that holds significant importance during the reign of King Taksin of Thonburi. It is the final resting place of the royal cremains of King Taksin as well as those of his royal consort. Additionally, the temple serves as a showcase for various personal items belonging to the king, including his royal bed. The layout of the temple is divided into two sections, primarily due to the Mahachai railway line, which was constructed later and cuts through the temple grounds. Subsequently, the Thonburi Municipality constructed a road that encroaches on the eastern side of the temple area beyond the railway. As a result, the current temple area encompasses approximately 15 rai and 2 ngan. Beyond the road lies a monastic area occupying around 9 rai, 2 ngan, and an additional 90 square wah.
