Wat Pho Hom or Chalerm Kanjanapisek Temple It is an ancient temple believed to have existed since the Ayutthaya period. Used to be an abandoned temple for a while And this area was the location of Camp Pho Sam Ton of the Burmese army that attacked Ayutthaya. When the city was lost the second time and King Taksin the Great He could hit this camp. Considered as a restoration of independence after losing Ayutthaya for 7 months. Originally, it was an abandoned temple since the Ayutthaya period. What is interesting in this temple is The four-faced stucco, called “Four-faced Brahma or Brahma Face”, is quite large and adorns the stucco pedestal in front of the pavilion built on the base of the original ubosot. It is assumed that this may be the top of the temple gate or the ubosot. If the two pieces of stucco were originally objects of this temple It is interesting in terms of the significance of this temple. Especially the stucco of this style that adorns the top of the gate is not found anywhere else in Ang Thong province. It was found at the top of the inner palace gate of Ayutthaya. (Currently on display at the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya) and the entrance gate to Wat Mahathat Chaliang, Sawankhalok
