Wat Wela Wan is located in the Chin La valley. Originally, this area was a dense forest filled with bamboo. Luang Por Lee, a monk, arrived here while wandering the forests and found the landscape to be quite suitable. He decided to settle down and establish a monastic retreat. This temple, situated in the serene and beautiful nature of the valley, is surrounded by mountains on all four sides. It is an ideal destination for relaxation, nature appreciation, or spiritual pilgrimage. The temple features a uniquely shaped and beautiful sermon hall for meditation. Additionally, there is a nun's residence offering assistance to visitors and those wishing to make merit, along with a temple library that houses a variety of Dhamma literature.
