The City Pillar Shrine of Kanchanaburi, located in Pak Phraek Subdistrict, Mueang District, Kanchanaburi Province, is a newly constructed shrine that replaced the original one which had deteriorated over time during the reign of Phaya Prasith Songkram (Rama Phakdi Sriwiset). Built in 1960, the shrine features a Thai-style multi-roofed structure. Inside, the city pillar, shaped like a bulbous column, is enshrined. In front of the shrine, there is also an inscription stone and wooden tablet detailing the date of the city's founding. Additionally, the Kanchanaburi municipality organizes a ritual ceremony to pay homage to the City Pillar every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month.
