Maharat Road, located in Pak Nam Sub-district, was established by the Krabi Municipality with a vision to highlight the historical and cultural significance of Krabi Province and the southern Andaman coastal provinces, which include Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun. This initiative aims to connect the historical narratives from the past to the present, presenting them in the form of a museum. One of its key features is the Andaman Bead Museum, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
