This warm and inviting village is located in Moo 6, Mok Jam Pair Subdistrict, Mueang Mae Hong Son District. Originally named "Ban Mae Or," it is a community of Yunnan Chinese descendants, whose ancestors were soldiers of the 93rd Division who migrated from southern China many decades ago. Today, they live harmoniously alongside their brothers and sisters from the Shan ethnic group and other hill tribes in the area.
