Si Da Beach is located in Ban Nong Dern Tha, Nong Dern Sub-district. This beautiful beach boasts pristine white sands stretching approximately 2.5 kilometers along the banks of the Mekong River. Just across the river, a long stretch of rocky formations creates a swift current in this part of the Mekong. Visitors can spot Phu Ngo, a mountain range in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, extending along the river. Due to its picturesque scenery, Si Da Beach is a popular destination for tourists. Additionally, Si Da Beach serves as a venue for the local community of Bung Khla District to celebrate the Songkran Festival from April 13th to 15th each year, where they hold a traditional water pouring ceremony for elders and important figures in the district. To get there from the city center of Bung Khla, you can take Highway 212, and after reaching kilometer markers 171-172, turn left onto the paved road and continue for 2.5 kilometers. There are signposts guiding you all the way to the beach access point.
