The monument is a bronze statue covered in black lacquer, standing at 2.2 meters tall. It features a warrior draped with dual swords on his back, symbolizing bravery and the spirit of a fighter. In his right hand, he holds a spear, reflecting his prowess in commanding war elephants. This serves as a testament to Surin's long-standing reputation as the city of elephants, a legacy dating back to ancient times. The monument was officially inaugurated on April 13, 1985.
