Maemai National Park covers an area of approximately 185.28 square kilometers, or about 115,800 acres. The terrain is predominantly mountainous, with very few flatlands, serving as a vital source of water for the Mae Song River, Mae Usu River, Mae Salid Luang River, and the Moei River. Wildlife that can often be spotted includes barking deer, wild boars, civets, junglefowl, and various species of birds.
