Chiang Mai Night Safari, located in Nong Kwai Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province, covers an area of approximately 819 rai. This open zoo is set in a natural landscape of international standards and is the third night safari in the world, following those in the Republic of Singapore and the People's Republic of China. It is also the only place in Thailand that serves as an educational resource for natural resources and wildlife close to the city. The park boasts beautiful and impressive natural surroundings and structures, focusing on the theme of a Nature Theme Park. Visitors can learn about animal behaviors and participate in a variety of activities, including riding trams to observe the lives of wild animals at night, viewing rare wildlife such as the wild water buffalo, bison, rhinoceros, and ibex, taking part in elephant bathing, and learning about eco-friendly waste incineration. Accommodations are also available for those wishing to extend their stay.
