The ancient site of Wat Wihan Thong is located within the grounds of Chan Palace. It is believed that this site was once a temple, as evidenced by the main Buddha image, Phra Atharot, or its full name, Phra Atharot Sri Sukhotadhosapolyanaphi. This venerable image stands proudly at the center of the site, enduring the elements of sun, wind, and rain over the years.
