It is also home to Talad Plu Train Station, one of the stations on the Maeklong Railway, connecting travelers from Samut Songkhram. This market is renowned as a culinary hotspot, offering a delightful array of food options such as noodle shops, barbecued pork rice, made-to-order dishes, desserts, and many more, attracting visitors eager to savor the delicious flavors. Additionally, it allows tourists to experience a glimpse of the traditional community lifestyle that still lingers. Moreover, there are some temples worth mentioning, such as Wat Chantharam Worawihan, built during the reign of King Rama III, featuring traditional Chinese architecture. Inside the ordination hall, you will find the revered Hamsamut Buddha statue. The hall's front is adorned with stunning Chinese-style murals. Another notable site is the Thakdin Shrine (also known as Tow Long San Shrine or Thep Poon Thep Tong Shrine), a community Chinese shrine that serves as a center of faith for the residents, invoking peace and prosperity within the community. This cultural heritage has drawn many overseas Chinese to establish a presence in the area.
