The Red Building, a historical learning center in Chanthaburi Province, embodies a bitter chapter in Thai history when the city was under French control for 11 years (1893 - 1906). This site has a long-standing history, and the journey towards Chanthaburi becoming a part of Thailand today came at a great cost to our ancestors, who sacrificed blood, land, and resources to attain this status.
