Located on the western side of Koh Muk, exploring the Emerald Cave requires floating in a group from the mouth of the cave through 80 meters of darkness. At the cave's entrance, sunlight reflects off the water, creating a stunning emerald green hue. On the opposite side lies a large cave chamber with a pristine white sand beach, surrounded by steep cliffs and illuminated by natural light. The Hat Chao Mai National Park closes off access to Koh Muk from June 1st to September 30th each year to allow for ecological restoration. To reach this enchanting destination, you can hire a private boat from Pak Meng Pier in Si Khao district, which takes about 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can purchase a round-trip tour package from local operators at Pak Meng Pier. Additionally, it is also possible to charter a boat from Kuan Tung Ku Pier in Kantang district for a visit to the Emerald Cave.
