Inside the Lava Cave, it is quite common to find water dripping from the ceiling and seeping through the ground. This is an indication that the cave is still forming and constantly changing its shape. The small droplets from the ceiling carry a mild acidity, as they pass through air, soil, and various organic materials before flowing through the limestone in the cave. Over time, these droplets solidify, creating stunning stalactites.
