Khao Maikaew is named after the abundant Maikaew trees found in the area, characterized by stunning stalactites and stalagmites formations. It is home to the National Park Protection Unit at checkpoint 4 (Khao Maikaew), which is located near Klong Nin Village. From there, you take a right turn and travel about 2 kilometers before trekking approximately 1 kilometer on foot to reach the Maikaew Cave.
