Accommodation at Wat Thong Phra Klong Lad Po, Khlung, Chanthaburi On December 8, 2024, I participated in the communal merit-making ceremony at the temple. We traveled by a large boat, which is typically used for collecting shellfish, along with water and other supplies, together with the locals. The temple is situated in the middle of the water; it’s not very big, but there was a ceremonial offering of meals, monk alms, and various contributions following the monks’ traditions. After the ceremony, we shared a meal that was prepared for the monks and family members.
