Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, located in Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is recognized as the fourth national park in Thailand and the first coastal national park in the country, established in 1966. The Sam Roi Yot Wetlands is a vast area filled with water year-round, making it a perfect spot for romantic sunsets. There are nature trails for exploring aquatic plants, and it serves as a vital bird-watching location boasting an impressive 316 species of birds. Notable species such as the red-headed crane, the red duck, the grey-bellied astrapia, the white-browed astrapia, and the giant kingfisher can be spotted here throughout the year as they nest and lay their eggs. Additionally, the nature study center features a camping area that can accommodate approximately 100 visitors, providing a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature.
