Montathan Waterfall is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, Chiang Mai Province, but due to the difficulties and dangers of the route, the current National Park is only open for sightseeing with only 2 levels, which is sufficient and worth visiting. The first floor looks beautiful and swaying. The water cascades down the multi-tiered cliffs. As for the second level, there is a large basin that is not very deep, suitable for swimming. At Montathan Waterfall, there are houses and camping grounds available as well. But it's best to only recommend during the winter season. Because in other periods, it would be too lonely. Montathan Waterfall is one of the places on the route before reaching Doi Suthep.
