Pai is a must-visit destination that attracts both Thai and international travelers every day. This natural getaway boasts a laid-back atmosphere, featuring hot springs that are formed from rainwater and surface water seeping through cracks in the rocks to a certain depth. This water then transfers heat from the molten rock layers, resulting in hot water that rises through the rock fractures. The springs typically have temperatures ranging from 80 to 100 degrees Celsius. The Huai Nam Dang National Park has landscaped the surrounding area to enhance the visitor experience, constructing terraces that allow the hot water to flow in layers, making it possible to relax in the water or soak your feet. Additionally, visitors can boil eggs in the hot springs. However, it is crucial to check the signs by the springs to ensure that soaking is permitted, as some springs may have dangerously high temperatures. Entry fees are as follows: for Thai nationals, adults pay 50 baht and children 20 baht; for foreign visitors, adults pay 300 baht and children 150 baht.
