The Pang Tong Royal Villa, or "Pang Tong Highland Development and Research Center," serves as a place for experimentation, research, and promotion of cold-climate agriculture and livestock for the local hill tribes. As a result, visitors can encounter a variety of animals during their visit. Here, you can enjoy the fun of hugging or holding the animals, as well as herding the sheep. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to watch live sheep shearing and hand-weaving of sheep wool. You can also purchase affordable wool products like scarves and shawls. Not far from the sheep grazing fields, the Pang Tong Open Zoo is located, showcasing rare and endangered wildlife such as clouded leopards, sambar deer, white-breasted kalij pheasants, and hornbills.
