Sanam Chan Palace is located in the Phra Pathom Chedi sub-district of Nakhon Pathom city, just 2 kilometers from the iconic Phra Pathom Chedi. Constructed in 1907 during the reign of King Rama VI, this beautiful palace was intended as a retreat for his visits to the chedi. Within the grounds of Sanam Chan Palace, visitors can admire a plethora of exquisite halls and residences, including the Phiman Phatthana Throne Hall, the Apiröm Rudi Throne Hall, the Wachirirāmaya Throne Hall, the Samakkhi Mukumat Throne Hall, the Pathihari Thasanai Throne Hall, as well as charming residences such as the Chalermongkol Asana Pavilion, the Mari Ratcharat Banalak Pavilion, the Thap Kaew Pavilion, and the Thap Kwan Pavilion, among others.
