Beautiful and impeccably stunning, the golden hues of this site can be seen from afar. Upon entering, the beauty only intensifies. Nestled close to an ancient city, this Buddhist sanctuary welcomes visitors at no cost—there's no admission fee. The grand temple houses the images of 28 past Buddhas, as well as 10 future Buddhas who are destined to appear. In addition to the main hall, there are numerous devotional objects surrounding the Buddhist Mahavihara of Vajiradhamm, including a group of 12 zodiac stupas and stupas representing each year of birth, along with the Upaṭṭhāna Peace Stupa. According to ancient beliefs passed down through generations, our spirits are said to originate from the stupa associated with the year of our birth. If one makes the effort to travel and pay respect to these sacred stupas, even just once to seek blessings, upon reaching the end of life, the spirit is believed to return and reside with the original stupa once again.
