Crab statue

The area at the mouth of Krabi River.

The official name is "Black Crab Monument," located at Klong Nam Pier. This spot offers an excellent viewpoint of Krabi town, as it boasts a clear view of Khao Klong Nam, two prominent mountains standing majestically by the Krabi River, which also serves as a symbol of the city. Close to the Black Crab sculpture, you'll find the "Eagle Monument," dedicated to the local eagle, a bird native to this area. The reason for erecting monuments in the shape of the black crab and the eagle is that both creatures symbolize the abundance and richness of Krabi.

Province: Krabi
