The Theptharo Palace, located in Moo 5, Ban Nham, Tambon Khao Kor, covers an area of 20 rai. It was established by Mr. Jaroon Kaew Laiaw. "Theptharo" refers to a large tree, commonly known in the South as "Juang" or "Juang Hom." This auspicious tree has various uses, including its leaves, bark, and roots, which emit a fragrant scent similar to camphor. It is utilized both in cooking and traditional medicine. The site features beautiful decorations, including sculptures of dragons crafted from Theptharo wood. Additionally, there are learning centers that embody the principles of sufficiency economy, such as producing aromatic Theptharo incense and selling souvenirs. You'll also find OTOP (One Tambon One Product) items made from Theptharo wood. The palace welcomes visitors daily from 08:30 to 17:30.
