In ancient times, Jukka-cher was a temporary dwelling place for those who made a living from rubber tapping, oil production, and timber. Located in the vast jungle to the northeast of Bang Lamung, Jukka-cher was quite remote at that time. It would take over an hour of walking to reach it from the nearby town of Bang Lamung. The dense forest was home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, tigers, elephants, deer, and other animals. Within this jungle, there was a large marsh where these creatures would gather to play and drink water. Along the edges of the marsh, the Jukka-cher trees thrived abundantly, which led the locals to name this village after the trees that were so prevalent in the area.
