In the past, Chukkacher was a temporary residence for people who had a career in rubber cutting, oil production and woodworking, located in the middle of Dong Yai, northeast of Bang Lamung City. In those days, Bang Lamung was a city. If traveling by foot, about an hour to arrive at Chuk Ka Cher. Within Dong Yai is the habitat of bears, tigers, elephants, deer, barking deer, and many other animals. Within this grove there is a large swamp where animals play and drink water. People therefore called this village Chukkacher.
