Wat Yan Sangwararam Woramahawiharn, under the royal patronage, is located at 999 Huay Yai, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. The temple was established under the guidance of His Holiness Somdet Phra Sangharaja Na Thavorn Vachirayan, originally named Jaeroen Kachawatt. He was the 19th Supreme Patriarch of the Rattanakosin Kingdom and named the temple according to his original ecclesiastical title (Somdet Phra Yan Sangwararam, Somdet Phra Sangharaja Na Thavorn) as “Wat Yan Sangwararam.” Today, Wat Yan Sangwararam covers an area of 366 rai, 2 ngan, and 11 square wah. The original land for the temple was generously donated by Dr. Kachorn and Khunying Nithivadee Ontakran in 1976, amounting to approximately 100 rai, 1 ngan, and 92 square wah. Later, Khunying Nithivadee and her family made an additional donation of over 100 rai. Supporters and devotees of His Holiness collaborated to purchase surrounding land, contributing to the temple's current expansiveness. This area does not include the royal project and initiatives from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, which encompass approximately another 2,500 rai surrounding the temple.
