Wat Bueng Phra Aram Luang

Nakhon Ratchasima, the City of Nakhon Ratchasima

Bueng Phra Aram Luang Temple, commonly known by the locals in the past as 'Wat Khunnang,' is one of the six temples believed to have been established during the reign of King Narai. What stands out about this temple is its boat-shaped ubosot, constructed with brick and mortar. The ubosot measures 12.15 meters in width, 22 meters in length, and 30 meters in height, featuring a four-tiered sloping roof with a wooden frame covered in clay tiles. The base is adorned with curvilinear lotus designs that resemble the hull of a ship, referred to by craftsmen as the "curved bow of a trading vessel."
