Located in Moo 1, Jitbumrung Road, Nai Mueang Sub-district, directly opposite the Surin Provincial Attorney's Office, there is a royal temple of the third class, believed to have been constructed during the Thonburi era or the early Rattanakosin period, by Phaya Surintharapakdee Srinrungjang (Pum). Inside the temple, one of the most significant artifacts is the Luang Por Phra Chiew, a Buddha statue in the Mara Vichai posture, measuring a width of 4 spans. Crafted from tightly compacted earthenware, it bears similarities to Khmer artistic styles and serves as the main Buddha image of the temple. This statue is enshrined in the brick and mortar vihara located to the west of the ubosot. In earlier times, officials were required to conduct the water purification ceremony in front of Luang Por Phra Chiew, which later became a spiritual refuge for people seeking guidance and protection, praying for success in their endeavors.
