**The History of Luang Por Kamjat, Wat Pasak (Phra Kru Suchitto Sangwornkhun)** Located in Huai Nam Sak Subdistrict, Manorom District, Chainat Province, Luang Por Kamjat was born on Friday, September 9, 1960, in Nong Khai La District, Sukhothai Province. His father is from Phachi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. (At that time, his father was a disciple of Luang Por Ruay of Wat Tako in Ayutthaya, who is now 83 years old and still alive.) His mother hails from Huay Krad Phatthana Subdistrict, Sankhaburi District, Chainat Province. Luang Por Kamjat received his monk initiation at Wat Thep Kuncharo Vararam in Mueang District, Lopburi Province. His preceptor was Phra Mongkolthamphanee, also known as Luang Pu Mang, a disciple of Luang Pu Man and Luang Pu Am. Luang Pu Mang was a former abbot of Wat Thep Kuncharo Vararam (Thammayut sect) and has since passed away. His instruction priest was Phra Kru Phromchariyarit (the abbot of Wat Manee Chonkhun, Lopburi). Luang Por belongs to the Thammayut sect, and in 1994, he set out on a pilgrimage to Chainat Province (originally intending to visit Wat Luang Pu Haew). When he reached the area behind Chainat Agricultural and Technology College, he decided to settle temporarily at the land belonging to Mr. Saman Phum Muang. Eventually, a faithful devotee purchased the first parcel of land—a former rice field measuring 12 rai—for him. The buyer was Khun Yuphin Amatayakul, a resident of Bangkok. Subsequently, Luang Por began constructing the temple and various permanent structures, officially becoming the first abbot of Wat Pasak and the district chief monk for Huai Nam Sak Subdistrict, Thammayut sect. He was honored with the ecclesiastical title of Phra Kru Suchitto Sangwornkhun, part of the lineage of Luang Pu Am and Phra Thep Worakhun. Luang Por has constructed a large pagoda and a prayer hall, with generous support from Khun Ying Yai Setthirasut, a patron from Bangkok. He has cultivated a large following of disciples and created numerous amulets across various editions, becoming well-known among collectors of Buddhist amulets and religious artifacts.
