Wat Pa Daeng Boon Nak is an ancient temple located in Phayao Province. Originally named Wat Boon Nak, it later expanded with the construction of a new temple nearby called Wat Pa Daeng. Today, these two temples have merged into one, known as "Wat Pa Daeng Boon Nak." Remnants of the wall that once separated the two temples can still be seen. Currently, the section of the temple that is forested is recognized as "Wat Boon Nak." As you walk into the forest, you will discover ancient remnants that were once part of Wat Boon Nak, including an old Sukhothai-style chedi, the base of a Buddha image, the main hall of the temple, ruins of ancient walls, and 25 other archaeological sites.
