Wat Phasuk is a historic temple that has long been a cornerstone of the local community in Muang Thong. It serves as a gathering place for the spirit of the people, closely linked with the nearby market, schools, and neighborhoods. Every morning, you'll find many visitors coming to make merit, with a notable increase in attendees during holy days. There’s ample parking available both within the temple grounds and along the temple walls (on the sidewalk outside). On holy days, you can also participate in the traditional candle-lit procession. The temple has recently undergone a reorganization, making it much cleaner and more orderly than before. In front of the main sanctuary, there’s an air-conditioned hall housing four white jade Buddha statues, where visitors can sit and pay their respects. If you have the chance, I highly recommend stopping by to pay homage.
