"Wat Phlong Saiwai" is a place of tranquility where Buddhists frequently come to make merit. It has a rich history associated with "Luang Por Waat Intachoti," a renowned monk from the eastern region known for his healing abilities. The temple features beautiful buildings and an impressive shrine dedicated to King Taksin and his four soldiers. One of the highlights is the large, pristine white Buddha statue, "Phra Samdech To Tarathep Samut," depicting the Buddha standing in the "Phana Hamsa" posture, which stands 15 meters tall atop the hill of Wat Phlong Saiwai. Visitors and locals alike can come here to pay their respects and seek blessings. When you turn around to look down from the top, you are greeted with a stunning panoramic view of the Laem Mae Phim beach, complemented by fresh, invigorating air. However, the journey to this viewpoint requires some effort, as you must ascend approximately 160 steep steps (there is a vehicle-accessible path, but it is quite rocky and may be challenging). If you wish to witness this picturesque spot, you can visit Wat Phlong Saiwai located in Tambon Chakphong, Amphoe Klaeng, Rayong Province.
