Wat Loi Kroh

Doi Kroh, formerly known as Wat Roi Kho (Wat Hoi Kho), was built around the year 1367 (the National Office of Buddhism states that the temple was established in 1201 B.E.) in the Phaya Kue Na period. 6th King of the Mangrai Dynasty At the end of the reign of Burma, an army came to attack Lanna. Later, King Kawila successfully led an army to attack Chiang Saen, which was still under Burmese rule. therefore forcibly brought the people of Chiang Saen to live in Chiang Mai The people of Chiang Saen have renovated Wat Roi Khor. and brought the name of the temple in Chiang Saen to be named as "Wat Loi Khroh" received Wisungkhamsima in 1497. The temple was renovated between 2007-2008, which is a restoration that still maintains the original style that was built since 1865. located in the west of the temple It is a brick and cement building of Lanna architecture. Underwent a major renovation in 2002, the gable is adorned with a stucco statue of the Buddha image in the meditation posture. animals in literature and flora pattern The door is a watering pattern in the image of Thep Nom. and the fan wind or naga startled in the back The pattern is made by attaching various stained glass inside the enshrined.
