Wat Satu is home to a large reclining Buddha created by Phra Somdej To. The temple is nestled along the banks of the Pasak River, offering a refreshing atmosphere and pleasant weather. It attracts a good number of visitors who come to make merit. This temple showcases beautiful ancient architecture and features a market with affordable goods on Saturdays and Sundays, perfect for those looking to make merit. Many visitors bring a type of rice noodle dish to offer as thanks. There are also occasional traditional dance processions as part of the merit-making festivities. The temple grounds are quite spacious, allowing for ample parking directly on-site. If you visit on the weekend, I recommend parking at a private lot near the temple entrance and walking over; the parking fee is about 20 baht. There are free parking options available, but they are a bit further away. The temple also provides a shuttle service from the entrance. Once inside, you’ll find a market area, mostly offering delicious food, including the famous "Kanom Babin" (a traditional Thai snack) from local vendors, all at very reasonable prices. So come and experience the beauty of Wat Satu!
