Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan

Phra Pokklao Road, Phra Sing Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, 50200

This royal temple, located in Chiang Mai, is known by several names, including Rajakutakara and Wat Chotikarama. It was established during the reign of King Saen Muang Ma, the seventh monarch of the Mangrai dynasty. Although the exact year of its construction is unclear, it is believed that the temple was built between 1928 and 1945. Throughout the years, it has undergone numerous renovations, especially the stupa, which currently measures 60 meters on each side. This makes it one of the significant stupas in Chiang Mai.
