This temple is referred to in the chronicles of Yonok as "Wat Dhikachivavasaram," which translates to "Temple of Longevity." It features an octagonal structure with beautiful Lanna-style design, making it a renowned and significant temple. It is considered to have a highly auspicious name, ranking among the top 15 essential temples in Chiang Mai. The site was registered as a historical monument on August 21, 1979. This temple also boasts an octagonal ubosot (assembly hall), showcasing exquisite Burmese architecture that is well worth preserving. It stands as a revered monastery that has been part of Chiang Mai for a long time, with devotees deeply rooted in their faith towards the Buddha, the Lord of the Temple of Chiang Yuen.
