Wat Kaew Korawaram

Pak Nam Subdistrict, Mueang Krabi District

Wat Kaew is another temple situated not far from the Krabi walking street. The temple stands out prominently in the heart of the city, showcasing beautiful artistic and architectural designs. It provides a picturesque backdrop for photography in the cool evening hours, and the elevated position of the temple offers a clear view of the surrounding areas of Krabi. Inside, there are life-sized bronze statues of prominent figures, including the statue of Phra Dhammavarodom (Seng Uththamo), a former abbot of the Phuket region, and a life-sized statue of Phra Khru Thamawutwisi (Gim Phuttarakkhito), the abbot of Wat Kaew Gorawaram and the district monk of Krabi. Additionally, there is a statue of Phra Rachasutkhawi (Sing Chantapo), who is also the abbot of Wat Kaew Gorawaram and the district monk of Krabi.
