Wat Pho Man, or Wat Pho Man Khunaram, is located on Soi Sathorn Pradit 19, near the Chatrium Hotel. Upon entering the soi, you'll need to take another small lane to access the temple itself. While it may be a bit challenging to find during the evening, visiting during the day is relatively easy, and there is ample parking available in front of the temple. The temple grounds are clean and tidy, featuring altars for Chinese gods and various offerings. The area within the temple is not very large, allowing for a leisurely stroll as you take in the sights. Wat Pho Man Khunaram (普門報恩寺) is a Buddhist temple belonging to the Mahayana tradition, affiliated with the Chinese Buddhist monastic order in Thailand. It inherits teachings from the Zen lineage known as Linji (Vipassana meditation) and serves as a central hub for the Dharma principles of the Vinaya sect and Vajrayana (Tibetan) teachings. Additionally, it is a significant center for the governance of the Chinese Buddhist monastic order in Thailand and plays a key role in spreading the teachings of both Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. This temple also serves as a resource for Mahayana Buddhism in Thailand. The architecture of this temple is beautifully distinctive and constructed in accordance with feng shui principles. There are several important features, including the stupa atop the main hall that houses sacred relics, the Buddha statue representing Vajrapāṇi, a mosaic mural depicting 500 Arahants, and a collection of 1,000 Buddha statues. Furthermore, there are numerous deities available for worship and offerings, including the revered deity Tai Sui.
